For the people we contact

Why did I get a message?

A business wrote to you using Hound, a tool that helps agencies and service businesses find people who are already asking for what they offer. The message came from that business’s own LinkedIn account or mailbox, and they chose to send it. If you’d rather not hear from them, just reply and say so. To stop every business that uses Hound, use the form below.

Don’t contact me again

Where your details came from

Only things you or your company made public: a post or comment on LinkedIn, Reddit, X or a public Facebook group, a reaction to a LinkedIn post, your public LinkedIn profile, your company’s website, and recent news about your company. Your work email comes from your LinkedIn profile or from our email lookup partners (Prospeo, then Anymailfinder). Hound never uses personal addresses such as Gmail or Hotmail, and never reads private accounts.

What is kept

Your name, role and company, your LinkedIn profile, your work email, the public post that made you a fit, and at most three public facts about your work, each with its link and date. Nothing about your family, home, health, beliefs or private life.

Who is responsible

The business that wrote to you decides who to contact and why, so it is the controller of your details. 360 LABS LTD, which runs Hound, processes them for that business under a data processing agreement, and never sells them. In the UK, Hound sends a first email only to people at registered companies, and none to people in Germany or Austria.

Your other rights

You can ask to see what is held about you, or to have it deleted, by emailing support@houndreach.com. We reply within one month. The form above keeps only what is needed to leave you out in future: the email or LinkedIn link you gave. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). Our privacy policy has the full detail.
